Long-awaited plans for an art village in the downtown Edgewood neighborhood were realized with a City Council vote to create new zoning for the area.
The city of Vero Beach moved one step closer to having a Cultural Arts Village when the city council approved on April 20 an ordinance to establish the village.
Three Special Zoning Districts have been established for the Art Village with varying percentages of commercial and residential uses.
